Shag is the official state dance of South Carolina. Learn from Lynn and Jimmy Douglas, professional dance instructors. Basic Shag with a flair. Whether you're a first timer or an experienced Shagger with beach music in your heart come have fun with us. We will literally roll up the rug in our forty-foot ballroom for a two hour lesson. Price includes a two-hour lesson, dessert or hors d'oeuvres, complimetary glass of wine or beer, beautiful room and a gourmet breakfast in the morning. $100.00 per couple with a two couple minimum

Relocation Package
Realize your dream as we did. We're relocated Chicagoans who came to find the "good life" here in South Carolina. Enjoy a milder climate that still has four seasons. (The snow scenes were a one-day fluke and gone the next day) Learn from our successes and our mistakes. The room rate is $70.00 per night with a two night minimum. The package includes a free relocation packet.

COMING SOON!! Keep watching for a variety of theme evenings just for girlfriends. Make-up, crafts, aerobics, flower arranging, dance, gourmet cooking are all possibilities. Soon to be announced.

New Years Special
Enjoy an intimate evening of dinner and later a midnight Champagne buffet. Price includes an elegant room, $20.00 per person dinner coupon at the historic News and Herald Tavern one mile away. Return to ring in the New Year with party favors, Champagne and a delicious midnight buffet table. Enjoy a late and leisurely gourmet breakfast the next day. Check out will be extended until 2:00 PM. Price is $150.00 per couple for two to three couples with a two couple minimum. (Please be aware that if three couples book the package then the couples in Chambres 86 & 60 will share the bath.) Spend time enjoying each others company in the library in front of the fireplace and reminisce about all the New Year's pasts and dream of New Year's future.

Anniversary Package
Complimentary bottle of Champagne and fresh flowers in your room - Chambre 86 with spa tub. For Thursday through Saturday a $30 coupon towards dinner for two is included at the News and Herald Tavern in Winnsboro. The restaurant is a fine dining establishment located in the historic Thespian Hall. A memorable occasion for only $105, per night.

Wedding Package
When you visit, we have a complete list of caterers, bartenders, florist, bands, and photographer available. We require licensed and insured caterers. Your wedding and/or reception will be in our private home, not a hall. Therefore, you will have the intimate, personal touches to make your occasion memorable. Special room rates are available for bridesmaids' slumber parties. Call or visit for rates.
